Ever since I started this blog, I've been checking to see if I pop up on web searches. After two days of nothing, I googled: "the benign manifesto". I was one of only five results. The first two were just articles, the only two pages in the world/on the web that had also uttered the phrase "benign manifesto", proving I wasn't the first to use it. The other two were written in obscure languages that had different alphabets. Jeez.
Well, at least I have made a slight grab at internet attention. I consider this my first anchor in the web-world. Okay, maybe not an anchor, but perhaps a a grappling hook, or dental floss tied to a bent paperclip. You get my point.
